Getting the scoop, straight from Google.
Thanks to our friends at WebProNews, we now have additional insight into Google's most recent iteration of its algorithm.
Matt Cutts, head of WebSpam at Google, fielded questions in a live chat with webmasters.
Interestingly, this update wasn't a function of Google's WebSpam division, who usually spearheads algorithm updates in the pursuit of eliminating spam. This update was merely a function of the Search Quality division in collaboration with WebSpam.
One of the most powerful takeaways from this video is the following quote from Matt:
"If you are providing high quality content that users love, you will be ranking where you expect to rank."
