Web Application Developer

iE specializes in UX design, custom applications, mobile development, interactive marketing and web hosting.

We are currently seeking an Application Developer to join our growing company. As a part of our Programming Department, you will perform all aspects of software development, including requirements, analysis and design, implementation, testing, deployment and support. We are focused on Ruby on Rails development, .NET, PHP and mobile application development.

We are looking for an individual interested in working with a small, fast-paced agency that offers growth potential. The Work

• Gather client requirements and develop high-level design that meets those requirements
• Implement design using company standards and methodologies
• Database design, set-up and maintenance
• Aid in the testing of applications, setup and deployment
• Code maintenance on existing applications
• Assist customers with training/support/questions
• Participate in peer code reviews and technology update meetings

The Skills

• 2 - 5 years of relevant programming experience
• Programming skills in any of the following: .NET 2.0, PHP, VB, Ruby
• Some understanding of IIS, Apache, ASP and .NET Framework
• Knowledge of the Web and Web Server model (HTTP Request and HTTP Response)
• Some understanding of database servers and database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server)
• Passionate about technology
• Excellent customer support and service skills - in person, on the phone and via e-mail
• Self-motivation and organization skills
• Ability to work independently or collaborate with other team members
• You MUST have excellent problem solving skills with a strong ability to follow directions

Pay Per Click Specialist

We’re looking for a results-driven pay per click specialist to help us generate more leads and sales for our clients and partners. We’re seeking candidates who are looking to build on at least 1-2 years of pay per click advertising experience. In this position you’ll be working on a variety of PPC campaigns from small local businesses to multi-market chains to e-commerce stores, driving everything from leads to reservations to online sales.

As our marketing department continues to grow we’re looking to add a team member to specialize in and develop a deep expertise in pay per click advertising. In addition to delivering results via PPC you’ll eventually be expected to take the initiative on improving our pay per click offerings, developing scalable processes and procedures, and being an advocate for conversion-focused design and data-driven marketing plans.

Your days will be dynamic and varied as you work alongside other members of our digital marketing team as well as experts in design, development, and web hosting. Your responsibilities will depend on client and internal needs as well as your individual strengths and interests. We believe people are most successful when the majority of their job is doing things they like and have the opportunity to explore new interests.

Training and guidance will be provided, including dedicated learning time each day and access to tools and training programs. The successful candidate will need to be a self starter and be prepared to turn these resources into results.

We’re open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds. Must Haves:

• Experience designing, structuring, measuring and documenting A/B and multivariate tests
• Experience in conversion rate optimization
• Awareness of the different challenges that large and small accounts each pose and approaches to addressing them
• A proven track record of moving the needle – from click through rates to quality scores to conversions to return on investment

The position is full time salaried and includes 401K, Health Insurance benefits after 60 days and paid time off.
