The Energy Construction project tool is a web based application that allows Energy Construction, financial institutions, and subcontractors to communicate and manage the progress of biding and work order processes - specific to construction and remediation projects.
Energy Construction actively seeks financial institutions clients and contractors through their exiting network and via two distinct contact forms from their website. Each individual client has autonomous control over their company's settings. This includes adding, editing, and deleting users, creating unique field information, reporting, and if needed, creating additional office locations. Once a client is added to the project tool they can then be assigned to a new project. Here is how it works!
The clients begin to initiate a work order bid by adding preliminary information such as location, square footage, images, & project notes. The client then submits the bid to Energy Construction, who in turn receives a new bid notification via email. The email directs Energy Construction to the new bid and there they then work with their sub contractors to fill in time and cost information for the bid. Once that is done they then submit the bid back to the client, again notified via email, which then approves or denies the work. As you can see the key here is that each step triggers an informative email to the stakeholders of the project.

Once the bid is approved it becomes a work order. Both the client and Energy Construction can comment on the status of a project detail. They are also encouraged to upload images of the progress which then fit neatly into a before and after image gallery. There are 15 different categories of work within the tool and each project can have any possible number of category combinations. Each specific category entry needs to be reviewed, approved, and completed. Once that has occurs the project as a whole is marked as completed. From there an invoice is sent the applicable party.
There are several levels of permissions within the application and a user's view and allowable course of actions are based on their specific level. Some levels can view all bids and work orders, while other levels can only see the work order that they themselves have created.
