The Hope Survey project presented a unique and exciting challenge for us.
These folks are passionate about non-academic variables in classrooms (such as a students hope or belongingness) and their relationship to academic success. The first step in our client’s approach is to collect data in the form of survey results and use it to infuse change in school programming. However, they were relying on a third-party survey tool, an outdated and non-user friendly website, and calculating each report meticulously by hand. That’s where iE came in.
We were charged with redesigning The Hope Survey website, creating a multi-language and web-based survey, an accounts management system, and a customer-facing reporting tool for customizing, collecting, and analyzing Hope Survey reports. Our clients needed concrete, actionable data that could be easily understood by teachers and other stakeholders using the Hope Survey tool.
We then created a demo video that outlines how a user is able to customize data from hundreds of Hope Survey results. The video shows how teachers and administrators can use the tool to pull and streamline data from a database of student surveys into one, user-friendly application to create easily readable infographics that help them track and calibrate their curriculum and programming.
