Periscope is an advertising agency located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Over the past 3 years Periscope has tapped iE as its Interactive Agency of choice.  We have helped them develop several large interactive initiatives during the course of this partnership.  These projects have leveraged our Content Management System (CMS) development, HTML production, Flash, project management, and systems integration skill sets.

Periscope approached us to help augment their interactive department for their Treasure Island website design project. TreasureIslandCasino.com is a Flash-based and CMS-driven website for new and existing Treasure Island Casino customers, as such this project focused on integrating Flash Action Script with our CMS backend.  The front-end is entirely Flash-based, while the backend allows for simple management of copy, image, video, audio, and other content.

The Treasure Island project began with our developers working closely with Periscopes developers to create a CMS API.  The customized CMS tool allows for the creation of new pages on the fly, with custom and multiple URLs for each page.  Pages are built using shared components, such as navigation, copy, XML, and more.  The website was built around a "page type" concept, featuring a pragmatic and highly functional use of AJAX.  This allows for modular editing of content as well as niceties such as predictive text auto-completion and a dashboard for quick and easy access to recently modified pages.
