about the client

The Wilder Foundation is a nonprofit health and human services organization that serves the greater Saint Paul, Minnesota area. The Wilder Foundation wanted to redesign their site and be able to update and maintain it on their own using a Content Management System (CMS). The system needed to be easy to use and update by a variety of different users within the organization.

a bold new look

This project required us to give particular attention to the user interface because The Wilder Foundation has a broad user audience with varying degrees of computer literacy. Our goal was to make the site easier to use, more intuitive with fewer clicks needed to reach specific pages, and more appealing to donors. We exceeded the expectations for all three.

open source content management

An open source CMS called TYPO3 was used because of its wide range of capabilities. We were able to create a user friendly, modern looking website without sacrificing the ability to effectively manage over a thousand pages of content. We also conducted training sessions where Wilder staff were introduced to the CMS and learned how to update their respective sections of the website.
