DSL Router Set Up

2Wire 2700HG

First, follow the instructions for hardware setup which were included in the box with your DSL router from Qwest. After your computer has obtained an IP address via DHCP from the router, you will need to open a web browser and go to the URL: http://192.168.0.1/. This is where you will make the final configuration to the router to connect to ipHouse. Click on "Advanced Configuration Settings" (on the bottom right). Select "PPPoA" as the Connection Type. For the Username and Password, enter the DSL username and password which were given to you when you signed up for your Internet Exposure DSL account. Under Addressing, select "DHCP". Scroll down and click on the "Save" button. After the router has finished restarting, you should be online with Internet Exposure. Actiontec 1520/1524

If you are using a Microsoft Windows PC, then you will need to follow the instructions for hardware setup which were included in the box with your Actiontec DSL router from Qwest. Select "PPPoA" as the ISP Protocol. For the User ID and Password, enter the DSL username and password which were given to you when you signed up for your Internet Exposure DSL account. Select "Dynamic IP" as the IP Type. After a save and restart of the router, you should be online with Internet Exposure. For further instructions and troubleshooting consult this Qwest guide

 

Actiontec M1000

First, follow the instructions for hardware setup which were included in the box with your Actiontec DSL router from Qwest. After your computer has obtained an IP address via DHCP from the router, you will need to open a web browser and go to the URL: http://192.168.0.1/. This is where you will make the final configuration to the router to connect to ipHouse. Click on the "Quick Setup" tab. Select "PPPoA" as the connection method. For the User ID and Password, enter the DSL username and password which were given to you when you signed up for your Internet Exposure DSL account. Leave Static IP blank.
