Outlook 2007

1) In Outlook 2007 click on Tools > Account Settings to open the E-mail Accounts window.  In this window click the button labeled New... under the E-mail tab.

*NOTE: Once you are finished, if you would like to add an extra level of email security, follow the instructions below to add encryption (SSL). You can do this even if you've already set up your account.

2) Check the box next to Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.

3) Click the button next to Internet E-mail and click Next.

4) Under User Information enter your name and e-mail address.

If you would like to download all of your email to your computer. Select POP3 from Account Type and enter pop.iexposure.com in the Incoming mail server blank. Then enter smtp.iexposure.com in the Outgoing mail server blank.

If you would like to leave a copy of your email on our email server, or access your mail in multiple locations. Select IMAP from Account Type and enter imap.iexposure.com in the Incoming mail server blank. Then enter smtp.iexposure.com in the Outgoing mail server blank.

Under Logon Information enter your user name in the User Name blank and your password in the Password blank and click "Next".

Note: DO NOT check the Log on using Secure Password Authentication box.

5) Click Finish

Added Security - Step 1 (of 3)
Click on Tools > Account Settings to open the E-mail Accounts window. In this window click on your account then button labeled Change... under the E-mail tab. In the Account Settings window click the "More Settings..." button in the lower right corner.

Added Security - Step 2
In the "Internet E-mail Settings" window click the "Outgoing Server" tab at the top. In this tab check the box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Make sure the button next to "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is pressed.

Added Security - Step 3
You have 2 options:

For POP Email Accounts
Click the "Advanced" tab in the Settings window. Check the box next to "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)". Verify this changes the number in the field to "995". Next to "Use the following type of encrypted connection" in the Outgoing Server section, click the drop-down and select "SSL". In the field next to Outgoing Server change the number from "25" to "465". Click "OK" on the lower right. Click "Next" on the lower right, then click "Finish"

For IMAP Email Accounts
Click the "Advanced" tab in the Settings window. Check the box next to "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)". Verify this changes the number in the field to "993". Next to "Use the following type of encrypted connection" in the Outgoing Server section, click the drop-down and select "SSL". In the field next to Outgoing Server change the number from "25" to "465". Click "OK" on the lower right. Click "Next" on the lower right, then click "Finish"
